Pro Tips for Your Trip:

  • Bring Water: You’ll have a chance to buy water as there is a shop in every spot, but it’s always good to bring some with you. If you want your water to stay cool longer, put it in the freezer overnight.  Stay hydrated!

  • Hat & Sun cream: You’ll be riding in the back of an open vehicle, so bring a hat or scarf to cover your head. And don’t forget sun cream! Apply it every time you come out of the water, the sun can be intense especially in the summer.

  • Trust the Locals: When they say you can leave your bags behind, it’s totally safe. The Bedouins won’t touch your belongings.

  • Be Kind to Local Kids: Sometimes kids will try to sell you small items like bracelets. If you don’t want to buy anything, that’s okay. But bringing snacks or chocolate for them is a nice gesture – they love it!

More information:

  • Blue Hole: No need to worry, everything will be looked after. Someone from the restaurant will walk you to the entrance of the water, and when you’re done snorkelling, your shoes will be waiting for you at the restaurant!

  • Abu Galum: Next, we’ll hop on a boat and head to Abu Galum, about a 15 minute ride away. When you arrive, if your guide isn’t there yet (sometimes they come on a separate boat), don’t worry! Just wait a few minutes and kindly say no to any Bedouins offering their services. After that, we’ll drive for about 10 minutes to reach the next snorkelling spot.

  • Blue Lagoon: Finally, we’ll drive to the Blue Lagoon. The water here is absolutely breathtaking – calm, turquoise, with people windsurfing around. You'll have some time to snorkel, relax in the water, and soak in the views before we head back.

  • Snorkelling Gear: If you have your own, definitely bring it along.

  • Avoid Black Clothes: Saltwater can leave white marks when it dries, and trust us, it’s not the best look!

  • Wear Shoes at Abu Galum: The rocks are hot and uncomfortable to walk on, so make sure you’ve got something on your feet, you will be coming out of the water where you enter.
